Shiny and Naughty

A touch of S&M and a screech of PVC dazzled the catwalk with leather-adorned dresses at Antonio Berardi to Felder Felder’s futuristic backpack.

The exercise: Cardio/weights circuit.

The best way to slim down is to combine a mixture of cardiovascular and resistance-based exercise, so try this no-nonsense circuit for maximum slimming effect. The circuit is designed to rest one area while working another so try to push yourself and take minimal rest between exercises.

Step-ups for three minutes (left foot forward).

Frontal arm raises – straight arms, starting with the weights at hip level, raise them to the front and lower again. Repeat until you fatigue.

Reverse lunges with arabesque hold – lunge with left foot forward, lean forward and straighten back leg and then place all your weight onto the left heel. Repeat until you fatigue.

Press-ups until you fatigue.

Step-ups for three minutes (right foot forward).

Diagonal arm raises until you fatigue.

Reverse lunges with arabesque hold – right foot forward. Repeat until you fatigue.

Lateral arm raises until you fatigue.

Step-ups for three minutes.

Press-ups until you fatigue.

Step-ups for three minutes.
